the challenge

Cedars-Sinai EIS asked Amplified Design to create a centralized AV system for a 4K upgrade of the 9 conference rooms in their corporate offices.

They were looking to reduce the footprint of existing AV equipment while improving audio quality for conferencing and upgrading to 4K without changing any infrastructure.

the solution

Amplified Design created a system that uses Crestron DM-NVX product as the backbone allowing video, audio and USB transport over the existing CAT6 cabling infrastructure.

With a focus on web conferencing we selected Logitech cameras and Shure MXA310 Dante microphones to improve video and audio quality.

We wanted to create a “touch-less” user experience, so we made use of occupancy and video sync sensing to automate room functions without having to interact with the touch panel.

As a result, EIS was provided with a system that has 4K support, improved audio quality, improved user experience and a significant reduction in the footprint of equipment requiring maintenance.

We have continued our partnership with CMSC to provide remote support and consultation for their entire enterprise.
